Paediatric Dietitian Joins the Crew - 01 Jul 2009Peninsula Paediatrics have engaged the services of a Paediatric Dietitian, Ms Justine Thomas. Justine joined the centre in July 2009.
Teaching Program for Regional Paediatricians - 23 Feb 2009Dr David Bannister is currently carrying out a teaching program for regional Paediatricians at the Allergy Department of the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne. This will mean children in regional areas affected by allergy will not have to travel as far or wait so long to have a consultation or allergy test with a doctor fully trained in allergy. David is also helping to update G.P.s understanding and treatment of eczema through a series of conferences. The conferences include the usual cause of eczema in young children and the treatment of it. These programs will mean a greatly increased number of doctors with a better understanding of allergy and eczema spread throughout our community.
